I so saddened by the closure of this lovely watering hole. It was an understated, adult drinking den in an area sorely lacking in them. The place that replaced it is a stereotypical beer bar, tin ceilings, exposed brick, old beer cans (no trust fund boy, just because you moved to Brooklyn from college doesnt' make you a New Yorker and drinking Rehingold does NOT make you authentic in any way). The bar tender was friendly and the draft selection large. The beer garden has NOT changed. Oh well.
