lemon curd

I got a bunch of meyer lemons this weekend and made a big batch of lemon curd with them. I used half of it to fill a lemon tart for easter dinner and the other half is in a jar in our fridge.

Does anyone know how long it will last? is there another way to store it?

It was time consumming to make so I'd hate to have to throw it out.
