Lehigh Valley

I have been staying in the Lehigh Valley (Bethlehem/Allentown mostly), looking for diverse suggestions.

Here's what I have so far.

The Edge: been there twice, really an excellent place up to NYC/LA standards and a price to match. Specials have been the way to go, had an amazing Alaskan White salmon. service is decent, a bit too pushy on the upsale, but times are tough.

The Appollo grill: best thing here is the extensive list of appetizers, most of them good to excelent. i have not been that impressed w/ the entrees, dessert were good. service was quite accomdating amid the din.

The colonade: a morton's-esque steak place. large portions. steaks were as good expected, veggies, fish, and chicken good but not exceptional. desserts immense and good.

Nawab: so so Northern indian on S. Beth side. I wouldn't return. most dishes bland, and the chicken dishes were just blah.

Beth Brewery: basic beer pub.
Confetti: great soups, really great. esp. chicken adobe. cheapest in the neighborhood.

Federal inn (allentown). ok food, decent tapas, but wayyy too smokey.

Inn at the Falcon: anther fine meal, a nice cheese course emphasis on spanish/andalusian food, setting a little too romantic for busines.. (and lots of PDA at some tables!)

Sun Inn: ? thoughts I want to try but the menu looks uninviting? thoughts?
