I made a pasta dish with mascarpone and now I am left with most of the jar. It's hot and I am 8 and 1/2 months pregnant, so any elaborate cooking is out of the question. I was imagining using it in some sort of toast with smoked salmon and arugula, but I can't find any recipe like that. We have friends coming over for drinks (well, drinks for them) on Friday afternoon, and would like to use it in something for them... Figs and mascarpone also sounds good, but how can I use it without turning on the oven?? Any suggestion is very welcomed.
