I need some expert opinions.
In Northern Europe and the low countries (and perhaps elsewhere), you don't take leftover food home from a restaurant. It's gauche. It's just, as a former fiance put it, "not done".
Here in the US though, it's perfectly fine to do. I enjoy eating my leftovers that someone lovingly cooked for me and all I have to do is open the box and reheat.
My question: Do Americans bring home leftover BYOB wine?? Or wha?
