Finished up a ham the other day. Cut the remaining meat off the bone, and simmered the bone with spices(bay leaves, cloves, pepper corns, garlic, onion. I've got about 3 cups of chopped ham and 6 cups of the bone broth. I was thinking black eyed peas and rice, or split pea soup served with a really good, crusty bread. But I want to avoid a super carb loaded meal. Any suggestions?
