I was making bone broth in the crockpot last night, and my larger crockpot has a different dial setting than the smaller one I usually make it in. So I had the dial turned all the way to the right thinking it was the HOT setting, but it was actually the warm setting. I checked the temperature this morning (I had started it last night around 7 pm), and the temperature was at 145, which I believe is within the safe range of temperature for food. However, I don't know how long it took to get within the range.
So my question is, do you think it's safe to eat, or do I need to toss it? There is still some meat on the bones, I'm not sure if that makes a difference or not, and it's chicken bones. The crock pot is about an 8 qt pot.
