I've been more and more aware of trying new foods, appreciating what makes something flavorful, layered and complex. I would like to try some organ meats, but I'm not sure if I'll like the taste. When I was a kid my NYC born and bred mother gave me lots of liversausage sandwiches, which I loved. Is the taste the same?
My husband and I have reservations at A.O.C. tomorrow night. This is the perfect opportunity, I get to eat liver, not prepare it, and not go hungry if I don't enjoy it! Any advice? Any other places with good liver? The only food I truly do not enjoy is raw tomatoes--the texture turns me off.
