Had a pleasant meal here last night. Salad of mesclun and goat cheese to start, then a whopping order of moules frites (which I was only charged $9 for--the waitress claimed it was the "small"!). I have to say that the frites were some of the best skinny fries I've come across in ages--crispy and oily, but in an addictive way. (I should have asked for mayo on the side). Poire Belle Helene used a clearly canned pear, but the chocolate sauce was very good. I ordered a dry cider to drink and got an entire 375-ml bottle for $8, which was poured into a bowl rather than a glass.

This is a welcome addition to the neighborhood. It's more of a classic French bistro than 718 up on Ditmars.
