Went to Le Petit Robert last night after no luck at Acquerello without reservations. LPR was only half-full around 8pm.
Great crusty bread (place is part of Pascal Rigo's Bay Bread mini-empire), served with a dish of good olive oil. Salade Lyonnaise was good though they substituted boiled potatoes for croutons. Salt cod fritters with a sort of tartar sauce were really good, came with a very nice shaved vegetable salad. Cassoulet was fine but not my favorite style. Large portions, good service, very reasonable prices on both food and wine.
Overall a good value, I'd probably eat there often if I lived in the area, but I prefer the more hardcore French style of Jeanty.
