OK, I'm planning to purchase my FIRST piece of Le Crueset cookware. If I can only afford buy ONE piece....what should I get?
What is the most useful all around starter piece? I was thinking one of the Dutch ovens myself, but what size? Which is the best size for a fairly scrappy cook to use without getting a hernia if it were filled with stock. What caveats are there with different pieces/sizes?
I've been eyeballing Le Crueset for years, but to tell you the truth I got suckered by the new "exclusive" color(lemongrass) offered by Williams Sonoma and I believe this line is limited at W.S.
