Le Citron Bistro?

Has anyone tried Le Citron Bistro on Religious St.? Some friends and I swung by last Thursday (after a failed attempt at making reservations - kept getting the machine) and had a really odd experience. The whole place was empty, except for one (pretty toasted)guy on the patron side of the bar who told us that he could seat us, but we wouldn't be able to eat because everyone had called in sick. He then relented and reluctantly said that maybe he could make us a hamburger, or perhaps fried chicken, but that he'd feel he was cheating us because he had to keep an eye on the bar and so wouldn't be able to devote his full attention to cooking. There was a little more bizarre conversation as we tried to gracefully extract ourselves from the situation, but I'm still confused about the whole thing.

I was disappointed because I was looking forward to trying a new place and because we had an out-of-towner with us. We ended up dropping by Dick and Jenny's to check on the wait, which was a reasonable (to me, anyway) 45 minutes, but we had a couple who were too hungry to wait, so we ended up at Nirvana.

So, anyone know what's up with this place? From the web site, I thought it showed some promise, but now I don't know what to think.
