After reading many great reviews on this site, we gave it a try and were very impressed. It looks like a hole in the wall from the outside, and the decor is sort of that morbid mauve, but the food is incredible and the service is great. I had a special duck and fig dish that was out of this world- I've never had so much meat on a duck before. Also veggie sides, as well as a yummy corn souffle and mashed carrots/beets. The salad and bread were above average. The hubby enjoyed his rack of lamb and didn't complain (as he usually does) that there wasn't enough to eat. He wasn't really impressed though with the escargot and onion soup- not bad, but not great. However, we both thought this place is a gem. I would say it's better than Courtine's and on par with Casa Bella (although that's comparing apples and oranges I suppose). I also enjoyed it more than 11 Maple Street.
