Has anyone been to Le Bec Fin lately?

AmblerGirl | Aug 22, 201107:30 PM     9

I have been trying to find a special spot for our upcoming 10 year anniversary dinner and had it narrowed down to a number of special occasion spots in the city - Vetri, LaCroix, Amada, Le Bec Fin. I saw that Le Bec Fin is offering a special 40 dollar menu to celebrate their anniversary (with an accompanying 40 dollar by the bottle wine!) so that pretty much sealed the deal for me given we'd be looking at $165/pp for the chef table at LaCroix. I have never been to Le Bec Fin, either before or after its "transformation". Has anyone been lately? Any thoughts or suggestions? Any advice on what to order on the dessert cart? Also, the reservation says we may be seated in a number of dining rooms (main, mezzzanine, etc.). Any suggestions on the nicest spot?
