Lazy Daisy on Wilshire Blvd

Ralph | Jun 13, 200405:16 PM     5

For people who like breakfast that have to watch their
cholesteral count, we found a delightful breakfast
at the Lazy Daisy on Wilshire Blvd, just west of the
405 near Westgate.
We ordered a dish that had egg whites with a tomatoe-
basil sauce over it and found it to be very pleasing.
It's served with either fruit or potatoes. We went the fruit route so we got fresh melon pieces of cantaloupe,
honey dew, watermelon...and a strawberry with fresh
slices of bananas.
However, you have to serve yourself for the coffee,
since you have about seven choices of types
of coffee, which is kind of fun. We had the vanilla
nut, (which really gives you "caffeine boost")then
the French Roast, then the Guatamalan.
It was a pleasant breakfast.
It's a small place with a small patio and an entry
alcove for dining.
