LAX - MIA 12/30 for 7 Days

WileysHungryAgain | Dec 14, 201606:17 PM

Heading to Miami on the 31st staying at the Standard and plan on Uber-ing around town and am in need of some guidance. Been thru numerous threads, MIA Food Blogs, Eater, Thrillist etc., and was looking for some “boots on the ground” help. Just trying to find out what's current and what's not. Highbrow and lowbrow. Price is always a concern, but willing to bite the bullet when it comes to obvious requests.

Prime 112 (Been there often)
LT S & S
Edge (Brickell)
Any better, more fun etc.

-Oysters / Seafood (casual or otherwise)
The River
Oyster Leaf

-and all the rest in no particular category or order
Halves & Wholes
Quinto La Huella

Thanks for your help in advance.

P.S. If there are any avid boaters amongst you, we plan a renting a boat for one day to cruise the bay and ICW. Thought about a boat-up lunch at Garcia’s or Casablanca, but also had thought of Stone Crab Claw picnic from and finding an inviting spot to anchor or beach the boat. Bonus points for ideas along those lines.
