About 8 miles from Princeton, in Lawrenceville, NJ, is a wonderful restaurant called Simply Radishing. Located in the Lawrence Shopping Center on Route 1. Open for lunch and dinner. Moderate prices, exceedingly fresh food, several good vegetarian choices, huge salads, and the best corn chowder (not always offered) I ever tasted. Other freshly-made soups also exceptional. Has a bread bar, which I've seen in very few other restaurants, with a variety of loaves, plus four tubs of butter (plain, cinnamon, herb, and garlic). Simply Radishing is small and gets very crowded at lunchtime, so go early. Rosemary Molloy
