My uncle is coming down for a long day in DC from York PA (home of bad food) and we're seeing museums ALL day together, then I'm picking up my wife in Silver Spring MD and heading back out to go to one of these Ruth Chris's with my uncle, my wife and our 11 year old stepdaughter. My uncle has never been to a Ruth Chris and is excited to try it. I know you out there, I know what you're thinking. You're smirking. You're biting your lip. You're laughing, you're saying to yourself - "Ruth Chris... Why? He could do so much better somewhere else for the money!"
Well, because he's my uncle and that's where he wants to go. My wife's favorite restaurant is Ruth Chris Bethesda and it's very easy to get to, but I was kind of hoping for something a bit different... Are the DC ones worth driving to? Is the atmosphere much better than Bethesda? Or should we just go for "easy", close to home and do Bethesda, again...
It's not like we go all the time. Every 2 years or so!
Thanks in advance. I am not open to trying another steakhouse that we all know is better, it has to be Ruth Chris!
Sorry foodies... hope I didn't disappoint you with this boring post :o)
