here's the latke recipe i've developed, and i'm wondering if anyone can suggest any improvements. . .
a few potatoes, grated
an onion, grated
2-3 eggs ightly beaten.
i take the potatoes and onion, mix them around with the eggs, add a little salt and a tablespoon or so of flour, mix that all in there, let it sit for awhile.
then i heat up on high an inch or so of vegetable oil, then drop scoops of the mixture into it. give em 3-4 minutes each side (till deep brown) wipe em down with paper towels, and eat.
it's good, but i feel like it could be better. anybody got an idea i should try?
