I had read about Jose Andres starting an innovative tapas/small-plate/sushi-type bar, a.k.a. "Latino minibar," at Cafe Atlantico in a Washington Post (I think) profile on him a few months ago. I called and made a reservation for next week, and the maitre-d told me that it just opened the week before. I'm taking a friend there for a birthday dinner, and thought it would be fun and different -- but I'm nervous because it's so new. So, I was hoping that someone else has served as a guinea pig before me... I'd appreciate any reviews!
