Latin American - Close to Old Town School

Orgullo de Mexico | May 9, 2005 07:44 AM

Seeking a suggestion for a nice Latin American Restaurant close to Old Town School of Folk Music (4544 N. Lincoln) for this Saturday.

Six adults (four seniors) will be dining, and we have tickets for a 7pm performance at the Old Town School.

We'd like to be seated and dine at 4:30pm.

We thought of Cafe 28 at 1800 W. Irving Park Road however their website says dinner begins at 5:30pm.

I thought of a Mexican restaurant I've been to that is just west of Ashland, I believe north of Irving Park - but can't remember anything about the name.

We've already been to Cafe Bolero on Western and El Barco de Mariscos on Ashland.

Authenticity is more important than Nuvo, current fad, hip crowd, etc etc.

Any suggestions?
