I've hit most of the greatest hits of Brighton Beach for various celebrations over the past ten years or so: National, Cafe Tatiana, Cafe Arbat, Cafe Paris, Primroskii, etc. I'm looking to try something different this time around. Good food, live music, dancefloor (doesn't have to be a big one), locals in abundance, and not too extravagant, thus ruling out Rasputin. I'm not into the "banketny stol" (banquet menu), and plan to order a la carte when I go with a group. Perhaps there is a Georgian or Central Asian place that offers these things. I'm a Russian speaker, as well. I'm looking for a place in Brighton Beach to allow for a vodka-fueled, post-prandial walk to Coney Island to ride the Cyclone. I would really appreciate any suggestions.
