Late November lunch spot in Liguria

nicwil1120 | Sep 11, 201908:47 AM     8

My husband and I will have have one day of our late November trip to Italy dedicated to driving -- something we have to do to make our itinerary work. We'll wake up in Siena early on Monday 11/25 and arrive in La Morra by EOD. I'm planning to cut over through Lucca and then head north from Viareggio as an alternate to the inland route, stopping for lunch somewhere scenic to stretch our legs and enjoy a fresh seafood lunch; however, I'm aware that in the off-season we'll have fewer choices.

Santa Margherita Ligure caught my attention as it's a larger port with off-season options and (by Google) seems like a fairly easy stop; however, I'd be open to other smaller coastal towns with great dining options that time of year. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!
