Late-ish dinner this Saturday night- fun, reasonable, advice needed?!

Can anyone give me advice on this one?

A friend is visiting this weekend, and 2 of us want to find somewhere to go for dinner.
It's going to be Saturday night around 10/10:15, after the Rangers game. She prefers Italian or Asian, or american/ variety. We all also like cuban, thought just had that for a recent b-day celebration.

I was thinking good, small plates and/or sharing would be nice. I'd prefer to make a reservation, and I prefer 14th st & below. We're 20 somethings, I want a fun atmosphere, drinks too, and maybe somewhere convenient to go out after if I can drag them... I suggested tapas, but after reviewing many menus, I dont think my friends will be into it. I sent them Alta's menu to look at, no comments yet...
I should point out my 2 friends are not so adventurous with food ( i suggested Pylos/Greek and they were almost horrified, though i bet if they tried it they'd like plenty there), and one tends to be very cheap, no better way to say it. So, I think under $50 person would be good. We all love Buddakan, but our friend has even been to the one here with us before. I don't want to do Spice Market, Tao, Buddha Bar. It doesn't have to be so "sceney," but young and fun and serving dinner at 10:30...

I was thinking Stanton Social, but I still have not eaten there and I'm thinking it will get too expensive? Other ideas I had were schillers, chinatown brasserie, frank, inoteca...

Any thoughts, suggestions? tried to be as thorough as possible....Thanks!
