tried Lassi on Greenwich Ave

A lazy day rambling through the West Village. Sudden pang of hunger. Sudden spotting of the itsy-bitsy "restaurant" (it has a counter with four stools) Lassi. Decided to try it.

Menu is mainly parathas with some other dishes. Several kinds of lassi, from the traditional mango to other kinds (coconut, cardamom).

Had the mango lassi (small.) The small is very small- but the lassi was delicious, not too sweet or cloying. Wish I had gotten the large (which was 4.75, not cheap.) Had the goat paratha which was made with ground goat. Fresh tasting and a nice match for the green chutney on the site - tasty, not transcendent.

A nice light midafternoon snack. Next time I will try the cardamom lassi.
