Land O Lakes European butter, anyone tried?

mushroomaffairs | Jan 27, 201912:57 PM     8

I bought some and baked cc cookies w/ it. They got significantly brown in 10 minutes vs 12 minutes at 350 so I pulled them out. They looked like they were going to burn and was surprised at how brown the cookies got and they spread more resulting in a flatter cookie. However the butter flavor was more intense, a browned butter flavor and it was actually quite nice.

I did a test w/ regular LoL and Euro butter on a bagel and oddly, the regular butter flavor tasted way better. The Euro butter tasted almost oily whereas the regular butter had a sweeter cream flavor, I was surprised by this. Both were unsalted andI won't lie, the Euro was on sale and I mainly bought it for the black box packaging. I've never tried Plusgras or Kerrygold, I've always been curious about these two. but I'm wondering if it's worth it.
