lame buffet at Woodlands

Stan | Jun 18, 2004 07:23 PM

I went to Woodlands in Artesia for lunch. They were mainly serving their buffet; the waiter told me that it would take a long time to prepare anything from the menu. The buffet, however, was incredibly lame. It's a vegetarian place, there's no meat, and so for $7.95 you need to be getting some vegetables. But 95% of what they had on offer was starch and fat. There were very few dishes to begin with, only one of them had any significant non-starch vegetables, and the entire steam tray had maybe one serving of vegetables total. Yet the place was three-quarters full, and people were eating this unhealthy glop! I walked out.
