We had another outstanding experience at Lahaina Grill last week.
It was one of those meals that had you constantly talking about ingredients and techniques.
Service was friendly and approachable as we choose to order many different small plates to share to experience the whole menu. The staff obliged us in bringing one item at a time so that we could savor over time! We took recommendations for items we probably would not have chosen on our own and didn't regret a thing!
Not usually a fan of crab cakes (usually deep fried), The Cake Walk gave us interesting tiny bites of a kona/crab, seared ahi and rock shrimp cakes. Each had it's own drizzle of sauce with which to dip. Perfect!
Ahi Sashimi is always a favorite. Portion seemed a bit small for the $22 app. portion however.
The Bufala Mozz./Tomato tower had to be the best and tastiest of this item I've had. Who would think that cheese and tomato would be so special. The berry mustard dressing on the salad with pears, beets, pecan crusted goat cheese with arugula salad was very unique and flavorful.
A week of fish encouraged us to try the Pork chop that was macadamia nut crusted on potato hash with picked red cabbage and a pomegranate sauce. Oh so yummy.
The triple berry pie was also awesome but we were seated near the desert station and it was hard not to lust after the other beautiful choices being paraded past the table.
LG will be an every trip stop for us!
