Lagostina Lagofusion 28 cm saute pan / rondeau

damiano | Dec 24, 201904:24 AM     166

In another thread on induction cooking by VFish, there has been some discussion on the Lagostina Accademia Lagofusion line. As that thread has expanded quite a bit, and to make future searches easier, I've created this thread.

Lagofusion is a hybrid line, with both a thick aluminum disc and conductive sidewalls. More info here: https://www.chowhound.com/post/lagost...

I ordered the 28 cm serving pan last week and paid 180 euro including shipping at amazon France.

On amazon the description says it holds 4.1 liter, but on arrival I was surprised to learn that the box says differently, namely 5.5 liter. The pan is therefore also larger than I had expected - it's also bigger than my 4.7 liter Fissler 28 cm low saute pan. The latter is my benchmark/reference saute pan in this size.

Weight (without lid): 2.9 kilograms
Height (measured from the inside): 7.2 cm
Upper diameter: 30.5 cm (it has a wide pouring lip)
