Lafayette Po-Boy places?

Chuck Rogér | Aug 25, 200408:51 PM

Hey folks, every time I travel to Lafayette to visit my mom and sister, we end up going to the same old stale lunch spot, Julien's. Tell ya the truth, the po-boys aren't that great. Tastey yes, but a real ripoff. Ya get a tiny slab of fried catfish that you honestly have to pull apart the French bread to see that it's really there. And the fried shrimp po-boys net you a grand total of 4-5 shrimp for a 10" long sandwich.

Anybody out there know of some good shrimp/catfish po-boy spots (lunch) in the Lafayette area? I don't mind driving 15-20 minutes to score good sandwiches. I tried the search feature for the site, but didn't find much help. Can you folks point me in the right direction?
