I'd heard of this place several years ago and wanted to try it but am never in the E 30s, especially in 2020. Friday night I noticed they are on Grubhub/Seamless and placed an order.
Beef and tripe in chili oil
Dan Dan noodles
Steamed pork dumplings
Everything but the dumplings were amazing! Spicy but not painfully so. Lots of ma la. The beef and tripe (my first time ever ordering that) was flavorful and the meats well prepared and not chewy. The beef in both dishes was surprisingly tender. Dan dan noodles were the best I've had in nyc. The dumplings were too thick, and meh. Whatever.
Delivery was fast! They must use a motorized bike/scooter. I live waaay west along the Hudson and it was here in 30 minutes.
The above - with 20% tip - and a 15%-off first time order promo - was $60. It was about 6 meals.
