La Tourangelle nut oils

HaveSpoonWillCook | Oct 3, 201709:23 AM     4

I just bought some pistachio, walnut and hazelnut oils from La Tourangelle.

The pistachio oil is divine! Green, thick, beautiful aroma and taste. I've used it for dipping bread - would love suggestions for other uses that showcase it, please!

As for the walnut and hazelnut oils .. unfortunately I bought one litre cans (while the pistachio oil came in a tiny 250ml can).
Unfortunately, I say, because they taste of nothing.
The oils are completely clear, have s slight aroma and barely a hint of taste. I did a bread dipping taste test among friends and we were all disappointed, particularly since the pistachio oil is just spectacular.

Is there an issue with lack of consistency during production? I see several reviews on Amazon that indicate some disappointment too. Or have the containers been stored inappropriately before being sold?
I would love to taste "proper" hazelnut and walnut oils (and replenish the pistachio oil when I run out), but what if the next canisters are of poor quality too? I'd love to hear your thoughts.
