Ever since I discovered La Super Rica (I won't say how long ago, but it is measured in decades), I have loved the rajas they serve. Tender pepper and onions mixed with cream and cheese. The overall result has a wonderful sweetness, but the peppers and onions are not overwhelmed by sauce. For years, I have tried rajas at other restaurants and have never found anything tasting remotely like La Super Rica's. At most places, the rajas are little more than peppers swimming in glop. Either that or they are peppers and onions with little flavor. Does anyone know a place in or around LA that actually serves great rajas like La Super Rica's?
