So - La Super Rica is great. I stop there every time I'm in or near Santa Barbara. A ton of interesting, quality things under one roof - err, tent. And it's a serious destination. This should NOT be so hard to duplicate in LA, where you have a definite market for authentic food that works well for both gringo and non-gringo palates.
Is there something similar here that I don't know about? I'm working at USC now starting just this week, so I'm certainly close to the eastside. Lemme know if there's a pot of gold somewhere in town.... Cheers!
