Restaurants & Bars 3

La Sandia -Dine LA

Needed to go to CB2 (turns out most of the stuff resembles overpriced IKEA!), and decided to try out one of the new restaurants in SM Mall.

Space was courtyard, comfortable seating...felt like I was on vacation.

Unfortunately, the food didn't match the ambiance. We had six different dishes between the two of us...the best item was the cinammon ice cream. The other food all resembled El Torito Grill, and not as good...if you can believe that! At least there, the tortillas with orange butter are addictive. Here, they served lame tortilla chips with an unremarkable salsa.

Not sure how this Sandoval guy got his reputation or over a dozen restaurants across the country, at least based on this visit.

Even at only $16 pp, an easy pass...
