La rotisserie du beaujolais report

rebus1805 | Sep 6, 2009 01:05 PM

My wife and I dined at the La Rotisserie du Beaujolais at 19, Quai de la Tournelle and were very disappointed. My wife had the girolles provencale which were good but it was a very small portion. After that, downhill. The onion soup was flavorless. I have certainly had better in the USA. We had coq au vin for two. Not too tasty. The vin sauce was very brown and there were no mushrooms, carrots or onions to be found. Only lots of potatoes. The manager tried to persuade us that this was the Burgundian recipe. The dark bread was inedible and we have better butter in our refrigerator. Service was good but we will not return.
