My wife and I just returned to NYC from a week in Paris. On our final two nights in the city of lights, we dined at Le Chateaubriand and La Regalade Saint Honore, one after the other. I think it's fair to compare the two restaurants, as our bill one night was 147 euros and the next 150.
So, how'd it go? For me, La Régalade Saint-Honoré was the better of the two. Service was warmer and I dare say, the food was better. Served with way more love...and hot and straight from the kitchen, too.
La Regalade may not be on the S. Pellegrino's list of the world's 50 best, but it makes it into my top 10 meals of the year. Is it on yours?
