If you've been to John's in NYC I would love to hear if you know of any place in LA that comes close.
For those of you who don't know, John's is one of the few pizzarias in NYC that is allowed to use a coal fired oven.
Their pizza is thin crust and the sizes are not those trendy individual "presonal" sizes that started in places like LA they are family sizes.
Still the pizza is so good you can finish a large by yourself.
Thin crust, crisp as a shingle, prefect flavors. How the juiciness doesn't cause the crust to get soaked and limp is a mystery to modern science I'm sure. It's like they have viagra for their crust.
Quite a challenge I know but worth a shot.
