my boyfriend is running the marathon this weekend, and we are hunting down a place to have a reasonable meal (read: not expensive or above $20 per entree, at least not this time) the night before the race.
he thinks italian is the way to go, but we're also down for thai, californian, american (new or traditional). he prefers less noisy places, is usually cold, and would like to make a reservation if they allow.
we're open to Silver Lake/Hancock Park/Eagle Rock as well (staying in downtown that night).
btw - if you're familiar w/zagat.com, service AND food AND atmosphere are important to us. i guess that's what you get with a lawyer and his hospitality management g/f : )
