Went by there with the Chow-Pup (now grown and visiting from the boring bland Mid-West) a couple of weeks ago, on a weekday PM; roll-downs rolled down, no signs of life. Went by there again, 7 pm yesterday, same thing. Are they gone?
These chicken fajitas get their flavor from a homemade marinade featuring dark Mexican beer, soy sauce, lime juice, oil, Worcestershire sauce, and garlic. They can be prepared on the stovetop with a grill pan as directed, or outside over a grill.
Lightly charring the lemon slices intensifies their flavor and creates a gorgeous look for this delicious chicken dinner. Be sure to include any of the sweet, tangy liquid the lemons give off in the bowl; it adds incredible depth to the sauce.
