Finally went to La Paella last night...There was nobody there!
The food was OK, nothing to write home about...We had: Octopus Tapas: Tasted like fishy beef jerky.
Gambas (prawns) Tapas: Tiny little 'peel-n-eat' shrimp that were rubbery, flavorless and all head & antennas!
Mushrooms w/ Sherry Tapas: Firm, but flavorless
Chicken Croquets: Fried balls of Chicken Salad...just like mama used to make before Dad ended up in the hospital.
Clams: Overcooked and Rubbery
Paella Marinara: Too much rice, too many rubbery muscles, three tiny lobster tails (1 inch long??).
The servers came up to the table to "check" on us about once every 2 minutes, so everytime anyone went to open their mouth to speak, there was somebody there saying "Is everything OK??"
The table had a pad on it, so everything (glasses, plates, etc.) was shaky and wobbly.
They overcharged us (We ordered a bunch of tapas and asked for ONE Paella to split for three...they gave us one GIGANTIC Paella that was three times as large as a normal one and charged us for three...)
But the Sangria was REALLY REALLY GOOD!
