Walked in friday night on my way to the Auto Show. What a great surprise. Simple relaxed decor, great service, and a fun atmosphere. The menu was fairly extensive, especially in terms of pastas and salads. Had the salad with anchovies and shaved parmagiano. Not sure what kind of anchovies were used, but they certainly were not the tiny dark brown, out-of-the-can kind. Delicious. Wife had a goat cheese and walnut salad, which was also excellent. Can't remember the name of the pasta dish I had, but it was an extra large, fresh rigatoni (ungrooved) with a stewed meat sauce and topped with ricotta. It was actually difficult for me to narrow the pasta choices down to less than 5! It was wonderful. Also tried the eggplant side, which was served in a tomato based sauce. A touch smoky, but tasty nevertheless. Wife had the ricotta cheesecake for dessert. Fabulous. This place really made me wish I lived in the neighborhood. The prices were very reasonable too. I will certainly be back.
