My Lovely Tasting Assistant (LTA) and I decided to throw caution to the wind and travel through Asia for 6 months. We're currently at her parent's home outside Taichung, in Taiwan and will be traveling to Taipei (must try Din Tai Fung, even if just to see what they charge for the dumplings which are overpriced in LA).
Looking for recommended chow in all of the following additional areas:
Thailand (Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Chiang Rei, south beaches)
Cambodia (Sihanookville, Penom Penh, Siem Reap)
Vietnam (Saigon, Hanoi and anywhere in the beaches in between)
China (Yunnan and Sichuan provinces, not sure of cities)
Mongolia (Ulan Baatur, not sure what other areas yet)
China (Beijing, Shanghai, Hong Kong... lay it on me!)
