A Quarter-dwelling recent acquaintance of mine has been talking non-stop about this place, and I was wondering if it is any good. Also, while looking it up, I learned that this (the Green Fairy) is the nickname for absinthe (here we veer into non-chow territory, should I have posted this elsewhere?) Anyone tried it? I understand it's like Cuban cigars, not illegal to possess it, but illegal to transport/buy it. I'd bet there's an absinthe scene somewhere in New Orleans, anyone know? This could be food-related assuming I'm trying to recreate original Oysters Rockefeller.
