I heard about this place from an earlier Times review of the restaurant. It's supposed to be classic French restaurant with old-fashioned bistro dishes such as chateubriand for two, beef bourgionioun, duck confit, veal chops, slabs of foie gras, and desserts like peach melba. Anyways, it looks like the place has closed down and has a change of ownership sign posted up. Does anyone know if this bistro has relocated or is the owner-chef working at a new restaurant? I'd love to know. I was going to try it for lunch today, but alas the change of ownership sign.
And furthermore is there anywhere, that serves this kind of food and does it well in the LA or OC area? (i already know about Mimosa and figaro brasserie, and cafe stella, which i'm not too fond of any of them.)
