Just wondering if you had any ideas about this:
I've been thinking a lot about Blue Hill at Stone Barns and whether or not LA (and its environs) could claim an equivalent.
The criteria here would be: a place with its own farm (preferably with the restaurant on the grounds) that grows/raises all of its own stuff. Obviously there's Gjelina with its farmers market menu, and of course French Laundry, but what else?
Perhaps we could broaden the criteria to: a very, very farmer's market driven menu?
