La Dominica Plantain Chips

Jim Leff | Jul 13, 201508:28 AM

In better Latin and Hispanic groceries in the northeast, these are really great packaged plantain chips.

Oil is immaculately fresh, plantains (green, not sweet) are carefully selected, thickness is just right, and they're cut length-wise, which has got to be a harder way to do it, but makes them a lot more fun to eat. Low salt (doesn't need more). These orders of magnitude better than other packaged fried plantains.
