La Chronique, Brunoise or Club Chasse et Peche?

Hi! We’re 3 (maybe more) couples looking to celebrate my wife’s birthday in Montreal. We’ll be coming from Toronto and the West Coast and love great food and great wine in a lively, fun, unpretentious atmosphere. Nothing too trendy; nothing too formal; nothing too boring. My wife’s already been to Au Pied du Cochon and Verses, both of which she liked. And we’ll be going to Schwartz for a medium sandwich and cherry cola for sure. Places I have in mind are La Chronique, Brunoise and Club Chasse et Peche. We’re happy with tasting menus (with matched wines, of course!) but ordering a la carte is fine too. And let’s not forget cheese and desserts! Your thoughts and suggestions would be much appreciated. Thanks for your advice!
