We have invited our Pennyslvania cousins to join us for an early Sunday dinner next week. We will need to be finished by 8:15pm. They like fish, Italian, and American food. Something fairly casual but with good food would make all of us happy. Is my assumption correct that it would be best to avoid the theater district since those restaurants will probably be busy and noisy during the time that we have to dine? We have never been to Esca and I think it would fit the bill (except for the crudo selections for our guests) but my concern is that it will be pretty crowded/noisy with theater goers. Cousins will be leaving from Penn Station so a restaurant near there or near a subway station might be a good idea as well. Thank you.
