A friend of mine and I had lunch there last week and...WOW! We were very pleasantly surprised. With all the mediocre Italian places popping up around Hendersonville, we weren't really expecting too much. I had a chicken parmigiana hoagie and she had the Ajo e Ojo (I think that's how it's spelled), which is a pasta dish that has garlic and olive oil and is topped with broccoli and shrimp. The food was fantastic! Very fresh with a truly authentic Italian taste. We were pretty full by the end but decided to share a chocolate chip cannoli from their bakery. Yummy! We will definitely be back! For those who want to try it, it is on Washington Street in downtown. I haven't tried them for dinner but the menu items sound delicious. Excellent food at a very reasonable price and the ambiance was great. We were even serenaded by their Italian host! Check it out...you won't be disappointed. The best Italian cuisine we've found in/around the Hendersonville, NC area!
